I grew up in Upstate New York, coming from a family of Handymen. Carpenters, Auto Mechanics, Home Builders. The passion was always about injecting a little creativity into clever solutions.
I originally began my career in 2015 as a Visual Designer and Photographer, but quickly grew far beyond those roles into designing things that are meaningful and helpful to people. Whether it was helping the small community's Mom and Pop shop, coaching a design team, or working with a big bustling office, what was important was connecting with people and building the clever solutions they needed.
I've since traveled to the Big City and help people build their stories. Everyone has a story, something that gets them up in the morning, that drives them to become the person they were meant to be.
Creating something amazing won't work unless you truly understand who's going to be using it, and why they'll need it.
Design isn't what's popular today, it's what's needed tomorrow. That means it requires exponential planning and consideration.
It's important to explore every possible option, and evaluate what it's going to take to meet the needs and excite the senses.
An interactive solution gives stakeholders a frame of reference, and a well defined system provides engineers with a blueprint.
Productive, detailed feedback gives us a better picture of what is and isn't working, what is and isn't resonating with the user.
Modifing plans based on rapidly gathered feedback to meet user needs and market demands is how we iterate more effectively.
